Large items

A number of charities, including Teesside Hospice, Frade, and the British Heart Foundation will collect large items from your home.

If you need to get rid of a large item like a cooker, a fridge, a mattress, a sofa, or a bed, you can book a bulky waste collection. Collections are free, but if you need to get rid of the item more quickly, you can pay for a collection.

If you can transport them yourself, you can book an appointment to take electrical items, fridges, freezers, TVs, and computers to the Household Waste Recycling Centre at Haverton Hill.
