Tees Valley joint Local Aggregate Assessment (LAA) 2017

The National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) requires mineral planning authorities to plan for a steady and adequate supply of minerals by preparing an annual Local Aggregate Assessment (LAA). The attached LAA provides an assessment of the demand for and supply of aggregates in the Tees Valley, other relevant local information, and an assessment of all supply options.

The LAA has been prepared jointly by the five Tees Valley planning authorities of Darlington Borough Council, Hartlepool Borough Council, Middlesbrough Council, Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council, and Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.
