The Core Strategy sets out the principal elements of the planning framework for Middlesbrough. It includes the spatial strategy and preferred planning objective for the borough, and examines the areas we need to focus on to regenerate the town. By identifying the broad locations for land use and the amount of development for an area over a specific time period, it allows us to plan for the future of Middlesbrough.
