The museum is located inside Stewart Park, close to the granite urn which marks the site of Cook's birthplace cottage.

The Captain Cook Birthplace Museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm, and is closed on Mondays.

Admission to the museum is £4 for adults, £3 for children and over 60s, and free for under 3s.

Or you can buy an Explorer Pass which lasts for the whole opening season! It's £10 for 1 adult and 3 children, or £12 for 2 adults and 2 children.
