Welcome to the new Middlesbrough Council website!
We hope you like our new design, and agree that it's faster and more modern.
If you see anything which isn't quite right, please let us know using the feedback form. For example, broken links, spelling mistakes, or incorrect information.
We've worked hard to build a site which works well on all devices. We know most users visit our site on a smartphone, so we've made sure everything works well on a small screen. If you notice anything which doesn't work well on your device, please let us know using the feedback form. For example, if there is text which is too small to read, or something is too wide for your screen and you have to scroll right to see it. If you use our feedback form, please make sure you tell us which device you're using (for example, iPhone 13 or Samsung Galaxy S21), so we can work out what the problem is.
We've rearranged some of our pages, to make it easier to understand what is in each section. This means things might be in a different place to what you've been used to over the last 6 years. If you're struggling to find something, we'd recommend using the search.
Our next task is to fully review all of the information on the site, and make sure it's as clear and simple as possible. We know that some sections (for example, planning) are particularly hard to understand, so we'll be paying particular attention to these. We want to make sure we do it right, so it will take time to improve everything.
Resident focus group
It's never too late to join our resident focus group. We're always looking for feedback on the work we're doing.
The group is open to all, and we're particularly interested in hearing from people who use screenreaders or other assistive technology.
You can offer as much or as little time as you want, there's no pressure - we appreciate any and all feedback on our websites.
To join, just email your name to digital@middlesbrough.gov.uk.
