Request a marriage certificate
We hold all the registers for marriages that took place at Middlesbrough Register Office or in approved premises in Middlesbrough.
We can only supply certificates for marriages which took place in a religious building in Middlesbrough if the register has been deposited with us. Registers are held at the church or place of worship until they are full. They are then deposited at the Register Office, but this can be several years after the marriage.
