Weddings at approved venues

Image Carousel Test

Middlesbrough has a range of venues which are approved to hold marriage and civil partnership ceremonies. At approved venues, ceremonies can be held outside of normal working times, including Sundays and Bank Holidays (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day). They also give you the opportunity to have your wedding breakfast and ceremony in the same venue.

If you'd like to hold your ceremony at an approved venue, you'll need to contact the venue first to check their availability. You'll then need to contact the Register Office and make sure that a registration officer will be available to perform your ceremony. You can find out about the cost of a ceremony at an approved venue on the Register Office fees page.
